The EverQuest servers will be down for a few hours on the 20th and 21st of January for a game update and for some server merges.  Here are the details:

From this morning until the 7th of November EverQuest players will be able to celebrate Halloween participating at The Haunting of Norrath events. Here is a general description of what you can expect.

The Hotzones are places in Norrath where adventurers can take advantage of an XP bonus, and they are usually swapped in rotation. The latest patch updated again the list. Check it out.

During the next week end, the LoN cards drop rate in both EverQuest 1 and EverQuest 2 will be increased.

Here is the list of changes introduced last week on EverQuest 1. The patch mostly fixed some buggy quests and items and removed the chance to miss a note for many bard songs.

The release of the 14th EverQuest expansion has been a great success of sales, and looking at the feedback it looks like it also met all player expectations.
But since the list of changes and additions introduced into the game is huge, you might have missed something. For this reason, we decided to publish the complete Secrets of Faydwer changes list. Check it out, and please remember that a new update is scheduled for tomorrow, 20th November.
