Etherea: Dark Genesis sent the forth issue of their newsletter. The development has gone forth in the last weeks and the alpha launch is expected for this June.

Welcome again to the Etherea: Dark Genesis Newsletter, this time there are some exciting updates as well as some new pictures around the website.

First of all, if you'll go to the Concept Art section you'll see a model sheet of one of our newest monsters, the Gargoyle.
Also, the Model Shots section has been updated and now includes the Eransect family and the Manticore. These Model Shots are some of the finished models we have ready for the game and are actual pictures of the textured models.

As of right now we are still on schedule for a mid-late June Alpha test where we will bring in some community members to test various aspects of the game. The Alpha test will include a few zones, minor quests, some working systems we need to test (including the combat system), mobs, and possibly a mini-dungeon. The game is still in its early stages but this will be a great milestone for Etherea: Dark Genesis and after this version of Alpha we will be able to start programming more advanced systems including the professions.

Lastly, I have started a blog on the development of Etherea: Dark Genesis to keep people informed about what is going on around the team.
