US and European servers are receiving today the latest World of Warcraft update: patch 2.3. The patch includes the new level 70 instance Zul'Aman, guild banks, a faster XP curve and more.

Since a few days, the City of Heroes / City of Villains Issue 11 is open for testing in the Training Room. Today the Issue has received an additional update for bugfixing.

The newest ToonTown  test server patch is supposed to solve some of the issues that people playing on a Windows Vista based PC are experiencing.

The Guild Wars client has received an update which temporarily adds Hero Battle maps to the Team Arena map rotation. Some bug fixes are also included in the same update.

The DAOC Herald announced the latest hotfix: Assassins will no longer have trouble climbing higher tier towers. This fixes a bug where assassin classes were unable to utilize the climb points on higher level towers.

SWG Chapter 7 is being tested on the Test Center since a few weeks already, and during the last week it received a few additional fixes that should make the current version very similar to the version that will be released on the live game servers. The following is a list of all updates and additions introduced in Guild Wars during the last week. The list includes preparation for the Bonus Mission Pack and start of the Halloween event.

During the last week end, the first non-test Legends of Norrath tournament has been played by thousands of US players. Many non US gamers also bought the 10 event passes (total price of 10$ + taxes) requested to participate, but when they submitted a request to join the event, they received a system message saying that for legal reasons the event was open only to US players.
Following many players complaints, SOE announced that any player who bought the 10 passes that couldn't use will receive a reimbursement.
