With the end of the winter holidays, Funcom's work on the 17.8 AO update has restarted, so that we can probably expect it to hit the game servers at the end of this month or in the beginning of February.
Let's see, in the meanwhile, what new features this juicy update is going to include.

Funcom has published the preliminary patch notes for the 17.7 Anarchy Online update. The update introduces new quests, items and much more.

Anarchy Online is starting to introduce new perks obtainable through the new Paid Point system. The first of these items being introduced are two new  vehicle types: jetbikes and hoverboards. Read more for information about the Paid Point system.

The Anarchy Online website states that "the current plan is for the 17.6 update to be deployed to the live servers on 9 October". Here are the preliminary patch notes for this massive update.

The next weeks will see the release of the 1.5 patch for Anarchy Online. The update will introduce a new area called Penumbra, a new group encounter and more. Check out the preliminary notes.

A few days after the AO 17.4 patch release, Anarchy Online has been updated again to solve a few new bugs. Patch notes for the 17.4 and 17.4.1 updates follows.

The Anarchy Online web team has published on the official web site a short update to let us know that testing for the 17.4 patch is going well. Preliminary 17.4 patch notes are available.

Here is the most update changelog available for the 17.4 version of Anarchy Online. This future patch will be focused on new quest series to the Adonis playfield and on a new alien playfield for mid-level players. Some other interface and gameplay changes are also expected.

The 17.3 Anarchy Online patch has been rolled in the public test server. Preliminary patch notes have also been updated. Check them out.

The Anarchy Online 17.2 content update has gone live last week. The preliminary patch notes that we published at the begin of the month have been confirmed and can be considered official release notes.
A good news is that we already got a preview for the next coming 17.3 patch.
