The update should address some client bugs on personal research actions. Hopefully it will also include improvements on the number of VPs awarded for battle stations.

The Anarchy Online client has been updated to version 16.4.3 resolving the performance issue that some players were experiencing since 16.4 went live.
The Lost Eden expansion is getting closer than ever. Some players were invited to test the beta version and more invites should be sent in the next two weeks.

The awaited AO engine improvements and optimization have finally arrived. Anarchy Online should now run smoothly on all machines with the most important improvements for low end PCs. Even more engine updates are expected to come with the next patches.

The AO team is currently testing a character transfer service. Players are for the moment only allowed to execute a character copy on the test server.
By doing so and then playing a bit on the test server, you will help the testing process of the 16.4 patch.

The 16.4 Update for Anarchy Online will consist in a "major revamping of how the game renders textures, graphics and animations". It will be released in small branches during the next two months, at the end of which the result will be a serious improvement in the game graphics.
