City of Heroes Collectible Cards Game
Friday, 20 January 2006

Beating for time World of Warcraft and EVE Online, City of Heroes announces the release of the first set of the new Collectible Cards Game. They say: "for the first time in the history of gaming, we will be crossing the barrier between online gaming and tabletop gaming".

I have some doubts about this first time thing , but I know it looks like interesting.

Arstechnica is confirming that World of Warcraft is officially supported on the newest Apple machines. We could say that the first demostration on how good EVE Online is doing is the steep rising of its player base. Recentely the game broke the incredible record of 22k concurrent players on the same game server and now it also won our "best PvP" poll.

UPDATE: Many thanks to our reader Sidewinder for highlighting us how last sunday the record was broken again surpassing over 23,000 concurrent players logged in! Congratulations to CCP!
