Thursday, 02 February 2006

Many thanks to the rogue Gaahnfaust of Crushridge for reporting us the first european guild which opened the Gates of Ahn'Qiraj: "Congratulations to the guild Armada on the French realm, Kael'Thas! Yesterday, alongside the rest of their realm, they have collected the four pieces of the Scepter of the Shifting Sands, reassembled it, and gathered the resources needed for the war against the Qiraji. They have rung the gong, opened the Gate, and defeated the Qiraji forces in the desolate desert of Silithus."

What's Happening on Everquest 2 Servers
Wednesday, 01 February 2006
I remember playing Everquest 2 soon after release. All players were in the lowest levels and of course the newbie zones were crowded, oh man, they were!
But coming from the experience from the first EQ, the developers implemented a system that would duplicate a zone in more istances and shatter the players population between them. So, entering Queynos Harbor for example, you were offered the choice to enter Queynos Harbor 1, Queynos Harbor 2 and so on, or any random instance, so that you could still reach your friends in the same area but without making the place too crowded.

Mythic Bans More DAOC Players
Wednesday, 01 February 2006

Mythic keeps fighting the cheaters in Dark Age of Camelot. Cheating is bad in every multiplayer game, and worse on PvP ones. Kudos to them!
"So, to about four hundred and fifty people with nothing better to do but cheat at video games: Time for a new game, because you are now banned"
