It is strange how players reacted to the list of features of the new 1.10 patch. The Priests are expected to be revamped (the Under Development page just says that there will be changes in the talent trees, but players expect those changes to be big), but people attention seems to be elsewhere...

Today EVE Online reached the milestone of 100.000 subcribers! Recentely EVE surpassed the world record of 23,000 concurrent players logged in a MMORPG world with no istancing and in wich all players are on the same shard. For the occasion, we want to give to all our user the possibility to download the EVE Online client and try the game for free for 14 days! This is finally to occasion to try the MMORPG that won our "Which MMORPG currently offer the best PvP?" poll, adding it to the list of the other tens of prizes won. |

What's Happening on Everquest 2 Servers |

I remember playing Everquest 2 soon after release. All players were in the lowest levels and of course the newbie zones were crowded, oh man, they were! But coming from the experience from the first EQ, the developers implemented a system that would duplicate a zone in more istances and shatter the players population between them. So, entering Queynos Harbor for example, you were offered the choice to enter Queynos Harbor 1, Queynos Harbor 2 and so on, or any random instance, so that you could still reach your friends in the same area but without making the place too crowded. |

From the Everquest 2 website: "As you may already know, Player-versus-Player combat is coming to EverQuest II! It is currently planned to launch simultaneously with Kingdom of Sky, the second EQII expansion. PvP will take place on new PvP-ruleset servers named after famous dragons in Norrath. Everyone will have the opportunity to start fresh on a PvP server and be a part of the escalated conflict between Freeport and Qeynos".

Yesterday the next patch was deployed for testing on TC. Some new quest, font improvements, but mainly bug fixing. To spport the Publish, client was also patched to version 5.0.1i. The complete log for the January 26 House of Common chat was also published. |
