With an exaustive forum post, Zatozia, Community Relations Manager for Planetside, anticipates the content of the next coming game update featuring the Combat Engineering profession and new vehicles.

The Planetside Dev Team with a small client patch has fixed the /appeal command, which should no longer crash the game when logged in with Quick Launch. With the same patch, Xmas hats, presents, lights in trees, etc. have been turned OFF.

It looks like on the Werner server /tells and Command chat are not working while Squad, Local, Broadcast, /comsan, and comxx are up and running.
The Dev Team is aware of these problems and currentrly working on a fix.

After seven weeks without any patch, the Planetside servers received a short update on the 27th of October introducing some tricks and treats. In addition a possible fix to a CUD issue on Werner has been deployed.

Like in any other Tuesday and Thursday also this week there are two events scheduled. There is an Home Defense Event the 17th and the Monolith Event the 18th of October.

From the Planetside official website : "

• The only side arms available are 6 Shooters, Long Rifles, Single Shot-Shotguns, and Dynamite.
• Armor is limited to the Standard ExoSuit
• The only vehicle ponies found to be available are wraiths and the available wagons are AMS (only for those certified), and ANT.
• Armor on the AMS and ANT has been lowered.
• There’s no access to support equipment except for Nano Dispenser and Med Kits."
