The latest article from the Britannia News Network let us think that a new Ultima Online event is going to begin very soon.

EA/Mythic has released a small patch that solved the crash bug that was affecting the Ultima Online Kingdom Reborn client installations with the frame option turned off.

With a forum post , Walt Yarbrough from EA Mythic has announced that the launch of Stygian Abyss, the Ultima Online expansions scheduled for release on this summer, has been delayed to an undefined date.

The Ultima Online 2D client has been update to version 6.0.1.6 while UO:KR beta client has received the patch 2.45.4.2. Check out the patch notes.

During the last week, the now 10 years old fantasy MMORPG Ultima Online has received different updates. Updates for the Kingdom Reborn client brought the client version to 2.45.3.3, while servers update, rolled in only on Test Centers 1 and 4, increased the server support for the KR client.

Starting from today it is possible to download the UOKR client from Fileplanet and use it for regular gameplay, on active shards using normal game accounts. No NDA is in effect anymore.

The Ultima Online client has received another small update and the game version is now 6.0.1.2. The update contains some art fixes, Windows 98 optimization and clilocs updates.

Mythic/EA issued a warning this morning to Ultima Online players who are under the effect of a Scroll of Alacrity and plan to use a soulstone.

While patching the Ultima Online client we got the following alert:

The 3D client will no longer be usable on the live servers as of the client patch that is projected to go live on April 2nd. After that patch, the only clients that you will be able to log in with are the 2D client and, if you're a beta tester, the KR client on certain servers.
