Yesterday the next patch was deployed for testing on TC. Some new quest, font improvements, but mainly bug fixing. To spport the Publish, client was also patched to version 5.0.1i. The complete log for the January 26 House of Common chat was also published. |

Publish 38, Virtue Quest and PvP are the three points of this Ultima Online newsletter. The question is: if they can send a newsletter related to a patch as small as Publish 38 was, and if they can do almost one month after the patch was released, how can we trust in the future of UO? |

Stratics is hosting a Dev Chat on Wednesday 30 November. Nowhere is said at what time the chat will happen  , but the usual stratics time for House of Common chat events is 7:00PM CST (8:00 PM Est, 5:00Pm Pacific)

Direct damage cap raised |

The following change has been put on on the PvP Test server:The direct damage cap (e.g. for Armor Ignore & criticals with Lighting Strike) has been raised from 35 to 50). Also, this cap will no longer apply to PvM damage. Click here for the original post on the boards.

It is currently possible to download the client and try out the game for 14 days for free. It is not specified on the related page in the UO official website if credit card information are required to validate the account. For newcomers, I suggest to give a look at the Playguide first. |
