The EverQuest servers are currently down for an update. We still don't know the content of this patch but we will keep you informed as soon as more information is available.

The last week EverQuest update has gone smoothly with no real issues. The update prolonged the Anniversary scavenger hunts, fixed a couple of problems with the Buried Sea and more. Complete patch notes follows.

Something is happening in the world of Norrath: "Within the marble halls of Erudin Palace, whispers can be heard discussing an argument brewing in the Tower of the Crimson Hands. No one can hear what the argument is about, but judging by the depth of the voices, the importance of the subject is obvious. As Gartekel Highton, the head wizard guildmaster, walks up the stairs toward the mastery hall, he recognizes the voices of Ghanlin Skyphire, Josper Kenshed, Whes Nareya and Raskena Djor as they occasionally rise to overpower each other."

Today 16th of March 2007 EverQuest turns eight. Celebrations and events are starting to appear all around Norrath right now, and will last until April 16 2007.

Welcome to EverQuest: The Buried Sea, the 13th expansion for EverQuest!

A very short time after the announcment of The Buried Sea, the 13th EverQuest expansion, the team behind the game informs the playerbase that this will be available only through digital download. Preorders can be already done using this link .

Before the week end, EverQuest received two client/server updates resolving some minor problems with tradeskills and quests and tweaking the properties of a few items. Here are the full patch logs.

According to this post on the EverQuest official forums, after Game Update 31 players will be able to put all master strikes into one spell.
